Updated TrueConf add-ins for Microsoft Outlook

Meet the updates of the standard version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook, which can be installed from Outlook add-in store, as well as its extended version, which is delivered as an MSI package and is installed using a file. In the update, we’ve added the possibility of configuring meeting invitation templates and other useful changes and improvements.

Configuring of conference invitation templates

In TrueConf Server 5.3, we have added the ability to edit invitation templates for mail add-ins. Now, after creating an event using TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook, a template configured in the TrueConf Server control panel is automatically added to the description.

Support for waiting rooms in the standard version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook

Starting with TrueConf Server 5.2.9, there is a new feature that allows users to set up a waiting room for participants before joining a conference. Now, users can create a waiting room when scheduling a meeting in TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook.

Other useful enhancements:

• When deleting a conference using the standard version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook, only the event information added by the add-in is now deleted
• In the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook, backward compatibility to display the source of conference creation in the TrueConf Server control panel has been added
• The stability of the standard and extended versions of TrueConf add-ins for Microsoft Outlook has been improved.
