We are happy to present TrueConf 3.6, the latest update of our mobile application for iOS and iPadOS. The new version features a special screen for device check before joining a meeting, supports the ability to extend conference time, and brings new capabilities to the built-in messenger.

Device check screen
Starting with TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, the user gets on a special pre-configuration screen for audio and video settings when joining a conference.
On-the-fly meeting time extension and conference end reminder
If the time extension option is enabled for a scheduled meeting, the owner and moderators authorized in TrueConf 3.6+ for iOS will receive a notification about the imminent end of the conference with the possibility of its extension.
The timing of the conference end notification is configured during its scheduling.
Messenger improvements
Updated group chat profile
We’ve redesigned the group chat profile — there is a new tab panel that allows you to see the list of participants, as well as identify who is a chat owner or moderator. Additionally, all files, documents, and images sent in the chat can now be viewed in the corresponding section.
Besides, in TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, the owner and moderators can now change the name and image of the group chat by clicking on the .
Starting a conference from the group chat
Users of TrueConf 3.6 for iOS can now quickly launch a meeting with chat participants directly from the chat profile using the corresponding button.
Bulk messaging
Users can now select multiple messages in bulk to forward, delete, or share them with users of other applications.
Drafts synchronization
Users of TrueConf 3.6 for iOS can now edit drafts in chats from any device on which they are logged in.
“Typing…” status
Starting with TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, the “Typing…” status is now displayed next to the names of users who are currently typing a message in the chat list, as well as in personal or group chats.
Information about reading the message
In a group chat, you can now see who has viewed your message.
“Favorites” chat
Starting with TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, users have their own Favorites chat, which can be used as a personal storage for files and useful messages. You can access Favorites in Options or from the chats list.
Other useful changes and improvements
- When connecting to a video conference on TrueConf Server 5.4 using TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, the owner and moderators can now end the content sharing (slides, screen, video file) for other participants. Just select the appropriate item from the context menu (the menu is called by long pressing on the required conference participant or the content window)
- A short tap on the audio output device icon during an online meeting or call now allows you to quickly switch between different output sources (headset, phone speaker, loudspeaker)
- In TrueConf 3.6 for iOS, we’ve added audio and video control through the real-time meeting management
- The updated user profile now displays information about the additional status, organization, and corporate group to which the user belongs
- The overall performance and stability of the application has been enhanced.
