We are excited to release TrueConf Room 4.3.2, the latest update of our software solution for Windows and Linux PCs and mini PCs to control video conferencing in meeting rooms. The new version brings a number of useful enhancements and performance improvements.
Meeting-room name
In the System info — Meeting-room name section, you can now set the name of the software video conferencing endpoint, which will be displayed when connecting to conferences as a guest (without authorization in the TrueConf Server system)
If the Meeting room name field is not filled in, the name of the PC will be used instead
Updates and improvements
- TrueConf Room main screen is now adapted for working in portrait orientation (Image)
- TrueConf Room users can now participate in public conferences hosted on TrueConf server without mandatory registration — simply go to the Join a meeting section in the control panel and enter the meeting link in the meeting ID field
- Now, in standby mode or during a call, the mouse cursor is hidden when inactive
- Support for the Korean language has been added
- We’ve fixed an issue due to which TrueConf Room could not run on some PCs with NVIDIA video driver
- We’ve fixed an issue due to which after connecting to the TrueConf Room control panel using TrueConf Room Discovery app for Android, the standby mode was enabled automatically
- The issue that prevented changing the conference layout after content sharing ended has been fixed
- The issue that could cause some slides in .PPT, .PPTX, and .PDF not to load has been fixed
- The issue that could sometimes prevent NDI streaming for users authenticated under TrueConf Server trusted domains has been fixed.
