A few days ago we’ve introduced TrueConf Server 4.3.9, our main winter release. You can find all the main features in our blog post or learn more technical details in the documentation. In this article you can find information about TrueConf 6.5.9, an updated client application for Windows, distributed together with TrueConf Server 4.3.9.
Table of Contents
Dual Video Mode
Previously you’ve already shared additional content during video conferences, e.g. shared your desktop or separate application window, or showed slides. In TrueConf Client 6.5.9 slides can automatically be generated from the images of any connected screen. In this mode, the desktop captured is displayed in a separate window for all conference participants. This way, attendees can see your video and content simultaneously. If you want to show several documents at the same time, you can capture two different desktops at the same time thanks to dual video technology.
Installation without Admin Rights
Many are familiar with the situation when you need to enter administrator password to install new software. In this case you usually have to call for technical support guys to help you. However, with TrueConf update it’s all become much easier: you are free to install TrueConf application without administrator rights. Install it like an admin, even if you are a simple user.
Video Layouts in Conference Recording
It may sound difficult, but it’s really simple: the video conference will be recorded using the video layout selected on the current PC.
TrueConf Virtual Printer
Virtual printer is a separate utility designed to simplify sharing messages and files with video conference participants.

Enter the Conference via a Link
In TrueConf Client 6.5.9, you can easily connect to any conference or webinar via a link. To do it, simply copy the URL from your browser address bar or an invitation email to the application call string.
In addition, our updated client application supports:
- Video cameras connected to IEEE 1394 port.
- Far-end SIP/H.323 endpoints and cameras control.
