TrueConf 1.3.3 for Android Update

We’re glad to introduce a new version of our video conferencing application for Android or Android TV-based devices. It now supports screen sharing, UDP Multicast conferencing and plenty of other features that will enrich your user experience. Be sure to update!

TrueConf 1.3.3 for Android

TrueConf 1.3.3 for Android update can boast more than 100 enhancements. Let’s take a closer look at the main ones.

Screen Sharing

Great news for the clients who actively use their mobile devices for work-related purposes! TrueConf for Android users can now share screens of their phones or tablets during video calls and conferences. With the new feature, you can make presentations and share important information with your colleagues even if you are on the road or not in your office.

Bring Your Video to Large Screens

Now you can become an active participant of a video conference even if you have only a mobile phone at your disposal: the updated version of our application allows users to broadcast video and content of their mobile phones to TVs, set-top boxes, and TV adapters supporting Google Chromecast technology, e.g. NVIDIA SHIELD. It will also allow you to display a video call or a conference on a large screen to view content and collaborate with other users.

Support for UDP Multicast Video Conferencing

TrueConf for Android users can now participate in video conferences in UDP Multicast mode that allows them to exchange audio and video streams directly with each bypassing the server. The use of UDP Multicast mode can substantially reduce your server load. Check out this article to learn more about this feature.

Updated Notification Interface

Our application is even more use-friendly — incoming video calls and invitations to conferences, including missed ones, are displayed in the notification field. This innovation helps you to quickly call back or start a chat with other users and keep track of information about missed calls.
