We are happy to announce the extended version of TrueConf 1.2, the latest update of our add-in for Microsoft Outlook. It brings the ability to prohibit attendees from giving audio remarks, select the categories of users who will enter the waiting room when joining the conference, as well as other useful changes and improvements.

Meeting time extension and conference end reminder
With TrueConf Server 5.4, it is now possible to enable notification with the meeting end reminder and to extend it if necessary. Users of the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Outlook can now also configure these settings when scheduling a conference.
Audio remarks disabling
Users of the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook can now disable audio remarks when scheduling a meeting in Smart meeting mode.
Selecting the categories of users entering the waiting room
Earlier in the 1.1 update of the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook, we supported waiting rooms. Now you can also select the categories of users who will enter the waiting room when joining the meeting:
- all participants (except the owner and moderators)
- unscheduled participants (guests and users who were not added to the participant list)
- unscheduled participants of other servers (guests and users who were not added to the participant list when scheduling, connecting via federation).
Other useful changes and enhancements
- We’ve added the ability to centrally change the settings using a configuration file
- The stability of the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook has been improved.
