New Opportunities for WebRTC Conferences
WebRTC conference participants can now select an audio playback device, which will allow switching to a necessary device during the conference.
Multiple users can now simultaneously connect to web conferences much faster, which will make interaction with our video conferencing server more comfortable.
Processor Load Optimized
We’ve reduced the CPU load during video conferences with legacy video conferencing endpoints by optimizing the video stream transcoding module in the SIP/H.323 gateway built in TrueConf Server.
Support for 389 Directory presets in LDAP Mode
389 Directory mode was also supported in previous versions of TrueConf Server. However, previously users had to contact our technical support to activate this mode. With new TrueConf Server, you can independently switch between all available templates: Active Directory, Openldap, and 389 Directory. When switching modes, additional LDAP scheme parameters are now also automatically picked up.
New Client Applications
Updated versions of our client cross-platform applications are now available for download on your video conferencing server guest page:
- Updated TrueConf 7.3.2 for macOS
- Updated TrueConf 7.3.2 (x86) for Windows
- Legacy TrueConf Client 6.6.2 application
