Automatic layouts
Starting with the version 2.1.2, it becomes easier to manage layouts. A new layout type has been introduced, which dynamically adjusts the size and position of video windows depending on the number of participants in a meeting. This layout type is enabled by default for all scheduled conferences on TrueConf MCU 2.1.2 and can be changed in the Layouts section.
Other changes and improvements
- Active speaker highlighting is now enabled by default for all conferences
- In both General and Presentation conference modes, participant’s Voice Activity Detection (VAD) is now enabled by default
- We’ve fixed an issue that occasionally caused failures during TrueConf MCU startup
- We’ve resolved an issue that prevented adding more than one cascade call to a TrueConf MCU conference when using TCP
- We’ve addressed an issue in the layout editor where an incorrect number of conference participants’ video windows was displayed
- Overall stability of the video conferencing server has been improved.
