Step 3: How to obtain the stream key on YouTube

Enter the Creator Studio on your channel:

Go to Live Streaming:

Step 4: Converting RTSP to RTMP

A conference created on TrueConf Server will be streamed over RTSP protocol, which is not supported by YouTube. So you will have to convert the RTSP stream to RTMP.

You can do it with a free console utility, FFmpeg. Download this program from the official website and install it.

Run FFmpeg on the same computer where TrueConf Server was installed.

Then, go to the Windows OS console and open the folder where FFmpeg was installed. You will need to execute the following command:

ffmpeg -i "<translation>/h264,mp3+44100Hz" -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f flv "<url>/<key>"

<translation> is the stream link from the conference creation page in the TrueConf Server control panel.

<url> and <key> are the URL address of the server and the stream key from the stream creation page in YouTube Creator Studio.

For example:

Step 5: Start Live Streaming

The stream will start automatically in the Live Streaming section on YouTube.

We wish you successful conferencing!
