TrueConf for Windows 6.5.0 now supports desktop and other applications capture and sharing. A new interface and avatar support makes TrueConf more user-friendly and socially oriented.
TrueConf has updated its video conferencing application TrueConf for Windows to version 6.5.0. The application features a completely re-designed interface. The modern design of tools and their re-thought location makes TrueConf for Windows more vibrant and intuitive. Users can now enjoy the ability to upload their own avatars: they can take a photo within the application and use it as an avatar for the Address Book.
The main improvement in this version of TrueConf for Windows is the support for capturing and sharing of desktop or any other application running on a computer in the format of a live video stream. This feature allows broadcasting of video content of any kind (documents, media files, complicated 3D models, and even medical data) to any video conferencing endpoints including legacy ones. The efficient use of communication channels during content transmission is provided by adapting the content to the resolution of the endpoint devices using SVC technology.
Besides, the new version allows choosing the look of the application’s main window: with the Address Book window either attached or detached. Users who prefer screens with high DPI now can increase the size of font in the Address Book, which should also improve the user experience on touch screen devices.
