In responding to the latest trends of server manufacturers, TrueConf Server 4.0 has a new web configuration tool that was developed in the form of a web-based application. TrueConf’s videoconferencing system management tools were previously limited by the Windows OS and remote administration tools. The new web configurator allows IT professionals to add users to a corporate videoconferencing system or to plan video conferencing sessions from any device or platform anywhere in the world. It increases the overall flexibility of the entire videoconferencing system. The web configurator works in a network through a web browser and does not require any software to be installed on the administrator’s computer.
TrueConf follows the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) principle in developing their solutions. BYOD means users can use any available device to connect to the corporate videoconferencing system from a desktop computer or a third-party video conferencing endpoint to an iPhone. Guided by this principle, TrueConf added a special guest page in their web configurator for employees who use the video conferencing server.
