TrueConf, a leading Eastern Europe video conferencing vendor, and CDNvideo, a top ranking CIS content delivery service provider, have introduced a new collaborative solution that allows TrueConf video conferences to be automatically broadcasted to thousands of users.
TrueConf and CDNvideo have combined their years of experience in the field of audio and video content transmission and have added mutual support for API interfaces, which are now fully integrated. The new solution allows TrueConf clients to expand the scale of their conferences without buying any additional user licenses.
To set up streaming, the TrueConf Server administrator needs to select CDNvideo profile in the settings tab when creating a video conference. The conference will start automatically as soon as participants enter the conference. The CDNvideo profile can be used for any number of conferences.
You can watch streaming from any device. TrueConf Server offers an HTML5 streaming widget, which can be inserted into any website or corporate intranet by default. With a bandwidth of 1Tb/s, CDNvideo network automatically scales streaming for all participants around the world with 720p video quality at 30 fps.

On the technical side, TrueConf Server transcodes conferences into RTSP stream using its internal protocol and codec set. H.264 video is then transmitted into CDNvideo network. Additionally, the server records conferences in the same format for future reference and data analysis.
