TrueConf, a leading developer of video conferencing solutions in Eastern Europe, showcased their solutions at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014 in Amsterdam. The exhibition had a record attendance of over 51,000 people from around the world.
As well as demonstrating their entire range of video conferencing and collaboration solutions, TrueConf were able to showcase one of their soon-to-be released innovations in the field: video conferences conducted in 4K resolution.
4K resolution can be seen in TrueConf group conferences when the video windows of the participants are evenly distributed on the screen, thanks to the support of transmission of video streams from individual participants in resolutions up to 720p. When the number of users exceeds five, the total video resolution in the horizontal direction reaches up to 3840p.
In order to avoid any losses in image quality, and for the users to be able to get 4K video resolution, the equipment must meet the recommended
requirements. They are:
- Display: must support 4K format;
- Processor: Desktop Intel Core i5, i7 last generation;
- Inbound channel: minimum of 10 Mbit/s.
4K is ideal for displaying dynamic images of large size, and gives images an extraordinary clarity. It reveals more details and, as a consequence, creates amazing quality and a great video conferencing experience. TrueConf users will be able to evaluate the advantage of this video format after the release of the next version of TrueConf Server.
