We are happy to release TrueConf Server 5.4.4, the latest update of our video collaboration and team messaging platform for Windows and Linux. The update introduces a number of useful enhancements and performance improvements.
Updates and improvements
- The list of minimum browser versions which can be used for joining a conference has been updated
- The sound quality from conference participants who join the meeting using a browser has been improved
- An issue that occasionally resulted in reduced video quality for conference participants during a slideshow has been resolved
- A number of issues that could occur when using the conference chat, as well as group and personal chats, have been fixed
- A number of issues that could be observed with configured LDAP integration have been fixed
- An issue that prevented users utilizing NTLM authentication from logging back into TrueConf Server via the application after a connection loss has been resolved
- An issue that could cause a decrease in video quality during point-to-point calls has been fixed
- An issue due to which the email conference invitation could contain an incorrect link for joining has been fixed
- An issue leading to a user connecting to a conference in Moderated role-based mode with TrueConf app for Android might be displayed in the browser layout without taking the podium has been resolved
- The overall performance and stability of the video conferencing platform has been improved.
