This summer we introduced a new generation of cross-platform client apps for video conferencing and collaboration. Today we are happy to inform you that TrueConf 7.3 for macOS is available for download. You can learn more about the full range of main features in our TrueConf 7.3 for Windows blog post.
Let’s have a brief look at the major improvements:
- Video conference recording. MacOS users are free to start recording either the whole video conference or individual user videos in MP4, AVI or MKV formats at any moment during video session.
- Simultaneous video and content sharing. Share your content and video simultaneously to enjoy interactive experience with other conference participants.
- New voice activated layouts:
- Virtual background. Replace your background with an image of your choice right during the conference. This new technology enables users to brand their background picture or set any other background appropriate for the type of their conference.
- Camera remote ontrol. Authorize fellow conference participants to manage your PTZ camera so that the conference host has one less thing to worry about during their presentation.
- Automatic phone number formatting. Copy and paste telephone number in any format into the dialer (with or without spaces or brackets), as TrueConf 7.3 supports automatic formatting of phone numbers to a standardized form.
- Scheduling conferences. TrueConf 7.3 for macOS users connected to TrueConf Server 4.4 can now schedule their own conferences on the server directly from their app. Previously this feature was only available to TrueConf Server administrators.
— Voice activation. Speaker’s video will automatically be enlarged during the conference so that you don’t have to manage your video layout manually.
— Speaker highlighting. Speaker’s video is highlighted with a color frame allowing everyone to see clearly who is speaking at the moment.
