For the fifth year in a row we are holding conferences, workshops and seminars on video conferencing technology. March 25, 2013 we held our eighth conference of this series — «Video + Conference 2013».
During the event TrueConf specialists presented the first national platform for unified communications in USSR countries on the basis of TrueConf Server 3.4. TrueConf platform allows developing an entire system of corporate communications around a software video conferencing server: digital PBX, video conferencing endpoints by third-party developers, PC and Mac platforms, iOS and Anroid mobile platforms, as well as video surveillance systems.
Lev Yakupov, TrueConf’s Marketing Manager, shared the latest news from the world of video conferencing, and Dmitry Odintsov, Sales Development Manager at TrueConf, told the audience how to ensure enterprise video conferencing security. Konstantin Smirnov, Chief Architect at TrueConf, talked about the features and innovations in video processing.
Yuri Mityunin, Head of System Integration at UnitSolutions, together with Andrey Veprev, Head of System Solutions Department at St. Petersburg located Aspect, prepared detailed reports on equipment of conference rooms and providing high-quality integration with external equipment.
Maxim Rezakov, principal of Astrakhan State Institute of Education and Artem Staroverov, head of the Information Exchange Security Department at Chelyabinsk Regional Medical Information and Analysis Center (CRMIA), presented detailed reports on large scale implementation of video conferencing systems in the fields of health care and education.
TrueConf and UnitSolutions experts held a joint demonstration of the most up-do-date specialized equipment for video conferencing, including the latest version of the video conferencing server TrueConf Server 3.4 in a conference with TrueConf Terminal and mobile devices on iOS and Android, as well as working desktop applications for Macs. Unit Solutions presented Samcen conference systems with support of automatic pointing of the camera at the active microphone, HD PTZ cameras, Phoenix Duet and Quattro speakerphones, connected to a Phoenix Octopus mixer with support of echo cancellation.
During the coffee-break all the visitors were able to network with the peers and experts from the industry while enjoying a good cup of tea or coffee. At the end of the event a prize drawing was held. Congratulations to the happy owner of iPad Mini Korogod Maxim, the deputy manager at CRMIA!
