One of the world’s largest forums in mobile industry Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 took place in Shanghai, China from 15 to 17 July. Attendees included cell phone companies, mobiles manufacturers, developers and content providers.
Our company was presented by Dmitry Odintsov, TrueConf’s Sales and Development Director. His main goal was to forge new contacts and establish mutually beneficial partnerships with foreign companies, particularly Chinese. Dmitry showed off our solutions for all participants of the workshop. This workshop was organized and conducted in the frames of MWC and was attended by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Communications Rashid Ismailov and his counterpart from China. After the demo, Dmitry continued discussions with the representatives of Chinese companies.
The trip to MWC 2015 Shanghai was interesting and fruitful. We held more than 30 business meetings and had an opportunity to learn the first-hand specifics of the Chinese IT market. After three days of talks with Chinese companies, we have seen that Chinese market is very attractive for our company. Chinese clients are willing to buy software and services, make investments and common projects. We thank Valentin Makarov and all other organisers, in particular Oleg Plaksin from RVC for the opportunity to participate in the forum.
We are going to discuss this experience at the workshop on the specifics of the Chinese legislation and business practices that will be held on July 29, 2015 in the office of RVC and to actively participate in the meetings of the working group on collaboration in the field of information technologies and network security which will be held by the Ministry of Communications in September 2015.
