TrueConf Server 4.3.1We are proud to present the latest version of our video conferencing server – TrueConf Server 4.3.1.

The new version allows users to store avatars. We have also updated our client applications: TrueConf for Windows to version 6.5.1 and TrueConf for OS X to version 1.2.4.

There were also included several fixes to errors found in previous version, TrueConf Server 4.3.0, mostly regarding slide show and presentations display. To optimize the performance of mobile devices, we have enabled TCP Keepalive technology which lower the battery power consumption of the devices connected to the server.

New features:

  • Added the ability to store user avatars created with client application on the server.
  • The ability to forcefully logout a user from the client application.
  • Enabled TCP Keepalive technology to optimize the performance of mobile devices connected to the server.

Changes:

  • Improved SIP and VoIP server connection status check.
  • Improved security for remote TrueConf Server admin authentication due to the complexity of encryption.
  • TrueConf for Windows client application updated to version 6.5.1. Read more about the changes in this version (/blog/news/trueconf-windows-6-5-1-arrived.html).
  • TrueConf for OS X updated to version 1.2.4.
  • Accelerated processing of large lists of users (more than 1000 entries) in the Web Manager interface of TrueConf Server.

Fixes:

  • Fixed: Slide Show is not available in the client applications if Web Manager was not launched after installing the server.
  • Fixed: Certain SMTP settings did not record into register.
  • Improved work with H.323 endpoints.
  • Fixed: Issues with displaying user statuses with complex network settings.
  • Fixed: Connecting to video conference via Internet Explorer 9+ using TrueConf Client application is now successful (IE does not support WebRTC).
  • Fixed: Issue with adding an RTSP camera into user Address Book.
  • Fixed: The date is not indicated in the invitation when scheduling a meeting.
  • Also minor bug fixes from TrueConf Server 4.3.0.
