With TrueConf client applications, users can make videocalls and participate in video conferences from their PCs (Windows, macOS, and Linux) and mobile devices (Android and iOS).
This guide shows how to run video calls and conferences in TrueConf for macOS client application.
Table of Contents
Installing and launch
At first, you need to install TrueConf from MacAppStore and sign in.
Group Conference
To log into the application, make calls, or create video conferences, please check TrueConf for Windows user guide. All our desktop applications have similar user interface and this guide will help you even if you have a client application for Linux or macOS. To make your video conferencing experience more comfortable, you can use:
- share your content, and show slides
- send messages
- control of participants’ remote desktop
- control participants’ cameras
You can also record the video conference and the content shared by participants.
Role-Based Conference
TrueConf client applications have almost identical UI, so you can simply follow the guide for creating a role-based conference in TrueConf for Windows.
If you are the owner of the conference or its moderator, you will be able to:
- add and remove participants from a conference;
- end the conference;
- allow participants to take the podium (upon their request).
