Installing from the app store

TrueConf for Android – это мобильная версия клиентского приложения, имеющая широкий функционал по работе с конференциями и чатами. Приложение доступно в магазинах приложений Google Play, AppGallery.

Installing TrueConf for Android from the app store is identical to installing any other application.

Installing via .apk File

TrueConf provides 2 types of .apk files: one for smartphones with standard Android, and another for devices without Google Play Services (such as Huawei smartphones, etc.).

By default Android disables installation of applications from unknown sources due to security reasons. This includes any sources other than app stores. So, to install the application manually, take these steps.

For Android 7

1. Open the APK file in any file manager.

2. When a notification window appears indicating that the installation of applications from unknown sources is blocked, click the Settings button.

3. In the settings window, activate the toggle switch Unknown sources.

4. In the warning pop-up window, click OK.

5. Tap the APK file again and select Install.

For Android 8 and above

1. In the file manager, open APK-file.

2. When a notification window appears indicating that the installation of applications from unknown sources is blocked, click the Settings button.

3. In the settings window that appears, activate the Trust toggle for this source.

4. Click Back and select Install.
