TrueConf Server 5.5.2: Security updates, upgraded interface, and new capabilities

New UI of the real-time meeting management

We’ve updated the interface of the real-time meeting management — all the necessary items have been moved from the context menu to the home screen. In addition, we have added the ability to enable or disable the conference transcription if you have integration with TrueConf AI Server configured.

Dark theme in the scheduler and personal area

The conference scheduling section in TrueConf client apps has also received a visual update. If a dark theme is set in the application, the scheduler will be displayed in the same color scheme. In addition, the user personal area, which you can log in from the TrueConf Server guest page, has also received support for a dark theme — it is enabled automatically if the appropriate color scheme is set in the user’s browser.

File transfer restrictions

TrueConf Server 5.5.2 brings the ability to limit the maximum size of files sent by users, as well as select the file extensions allowed for sending.

Other changes and improvements

• Security updates for November 2025 have been added.
• We’ve added the option to select a transport protocol (UDP or TCP) for WebRTC connections. When both protocols are enabled, UDP is given priority, and TCP is used when it is unavailable.
• We’ve introduced the ability to assign a guest user of the webinar with registration as an interpreter.
• The stability of the platform has been improved.
