TrueConf Server 5.4.5: updates and improvements 1

We’re happy to release TrueConf Server 5.4.5, the latest update of our corporate messenger and video conferencing platform for Windows and Linux. The new version features security updates for February 2025 and a number of useful enhancements.

Updates and improvements

  • TrueConf Server security updates for February 2025 have been added
  • We’ve improved connection stability during conferences held on federated video collaboration servers, as well as in calls between users of federated servers
  • CPU load in Linux when processing media streams from users of SIP devices has been reduced
  • We’ve fixed an issue which caused some users to be disconnected from a group conference with a large number of participants
  • We’ve fixed an issue due to which users might have difficulties when connecting to a conference via a browser
  • We’ve fixed an issue due to which participants who joined the meeting via browser could not be displayed in the local group conference recordings on the client application side
  • We’ve fixed an issue which caused users of SIP/H323 endpoints to have difficulties when connecting to a PIN-protected group conference
  • The overall performance and stability of the video collaboration platform have been improved.
