TrueConf 2.0 Add-on for Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird

We’re happy to release TrueConf 2.0, a new version of our add-on for Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Conference owner assigning

When integrating with TrueConf Calendar Connector, you can delegate conference scheduling in Microsoft Outlook to one of your colleagues. Users with Delegate rights can assign a meeting owner when creating or editing an event using TrueConf add-on.

How to do it? In the Owner field, select the name of the user you are representing and save the changes.

Transcription support

When scheduling a conference using TrueConf add-on, you can now enable Conference transcript and select the transcription language.

Support for Single Sign-on (SSO)

With Outlook SSO integration enabled, users will be automatically authenticated to their TrueConf Server account, eliminating the need to enter a username and password when launching the TrueConf add-on for Microsoft Outlook.

Changes and improvements

• The Guest users parameter has been added to the conference scheduling, allowing participants who are not registered on your TrueConf Server to join meetings
• The overall stability of the add-ons has been improved.
