TrueConf Weathervane 4.2: TrueConf Room support and new PTZ camera control interface

We can’t wait to introduce TrueConf Weathervane 4.2, a new version of our software solution that helps automatically track speakers using multiple PTZ cameras in medium to large conference & meeting rooms.

This solution now seamlessly integrates with TrueConf Room and offers an advanced PTZ camera control interface. Don’t forget to update!

TrueConf Room integration

TrueConf Weathervane 4.2 is now compatible with TrueConf Room 3.1+, our software-based meeting room solution. TrueConf Room offers multiple screen support and quick access to the control panel from any available device, such as a tablet or smartphone, using a QR code. Learn more about the new TrueConf Room features here.

Thanks to the integration, TrueConf Weathervane 4.2 users can switch active PTZ cameras over the HTTP protocol thanks to TrueConf Room API commands. Previously, it was only possible in a bundle with TrueConf Terminal.

New PTZ camera control interface

Thanks to the new interface, TrueConf Weathervane 4.2 has become even more convenient and easy-to-use. Now you can set your camera position (pan, tilt, and zoom) not only manually, but also using a convenient joystick. You can also quickly set a preset that corresponds to the current camera position.
