Updated TrueConf 7.1.2 for Linux 1It’s time to update TrueConf cross-platform applications! We have recently shared with you TrueConf for macOS update, and now we are pleased to present our updated client application for Linux. The app is available for download for Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, openSUSE and ALT Linux distributions.

Our new cross-platform client video conferencing engine allows our developers to update client applications for all operational systems at the same time. TrueConf 7.1.2 changelog is therefore quite similar to TrueConf for macOS latest updates. Let’s refresh:

What’s new in TrueConf 7.1.2 for Linux:

  • Avatar displayed when the webcam is disabled.
  • Self-view window size and position can be adjusted during video calls.
  • The moderator can turn users’ microphones and cameras on and off during a conference.
  • Ability to turn off audio and video reception from other participants.
  • In-app support for uploading and updating your avatar.
  • Offline mode support.
  • Ability to enter extension number using “*” sign in the dial pad.
  • Support for local PTZ camera controls.
  • Support for direct connection between video call participants bypassing the server.
  • Authorization and connection to the conferences via links.
  • “Send message” and “Get back to the last message” buttons in chat.
  • Authorization and connection to the conferences via TrueConf URI API.

  • Updated microphone test procedure.
