We are delighted to release TrueConf 1.2, a new version of our add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird mail application. The update features support for custom conference invitation templates and waiting rooms.

Custom conference invitation templates
In TrueConf Server 5.3, we introduced the capability to configure invitation templates for mail add-ons. Now the template configured in the TrueConf Server control panel is automatically added to the event created using the add-on.
Support for waiting rooms
TrueConf Server 5.2.9 brought a mechanism that allows directing users to a preliminary queue before joining the conference. Now users of Mozilla Thunderbird mail application can enable waiting rooms when scheduling a conference using the add-on.
Audio remarks disabling
Starting with TrueConf Server 5.4, the conference owner can disable audio remarks for attendees in Smart meeting mode. Mozilla Thunderbird users now have the same feature.

Other useful changes and enhancements
- We’ve added a centralized method for managing parameters of the add-on using a configuration file
- We’ve added the possibility of authorization using the Active Directory Federation Service provider (AD FS).
