We are glad to announce TrueConf 8.3.2, the latest update of our all-in-one application for Windows, Linux and macOS. The new version brings support for new licensing, as well as many other useful changes to improve overall performance and usability. Don’t forget to update!

Support for new licensing

In TrueConf Server 5.3, we introduced a new licensing policy and made the team messaging platform even more available to eliminate communication applications fragmentation.

In TrueConf 8.3.2, we’ve added the users’ ability to request or renew a PRO license, as well as PRO status display in the user profile if there is a corresponding license.

Other useful enhancements

  • TrueConf 8.3.2 for Linux and macOS includes features of TrueConf 8.3 and TrueConf 8.3.1 for Windows
  • Search in group and personal chats is now case-insensitive
  • We’ve fixed an issue that prevented automatic connection to TrueConf Server after installing TrueConf for Windows using an MSI package
  • We’ve fixed an issue that might cause conference participants to experience lower quality when viewing shared video files
  • We’ve increased responsiveness with remote desktop control
  • We’ve fixed an issue causing camera settings not to be saved in TrueConf for Linux
  • TrueConf 8.3.2 for Linux is now compatible with operating systems:
    • Debian 12
    • Linux Mint 21.2
    • Ubuntu 23.10
    • Fedora 38
    • CentOS Stream 9
    • OpenSUSE 15.5 and others
