TrueConf Calendar Connector 2.4: Support for Rooms and “Do Not Disturb” Status for Offline Meetings

We’re happy to release the 2.4 update of our solution for synchronizing calendar events between Microsoft Exchange and TrueConf Server. The new version features enhanced stability and small but important changes.
“Do not disturb” status for offline meetings
It becomes easier to track employee availability. If a user has an offline event scheduled in the Outlook calendar, then the “Do not disturb” status will be automatically activated in TrueConf client applications during that time.
Note! The feature is available when connected to TrueConf Server 5.5.6 and higher.
Support for room mailboxes (physical spaces)
The update introduces support for Microsoft® Exchange meeting rooms — room mailboxes of physical spaces. When creating an event, the room is assigned to the event and becomes unavailable for double-booking.
Other changes and improvements
- We’ve added an additional indicator for calendar event synchronization in the Calendar section in TrueConf client applications and the user’s personal area
- Calendar events are now synchronized in the background even if the user is offline, improving overall synchronization speed
- We’ve fixed an issue where some events could be duplicated in TrueConf
- The overall solution stability has been improved.
