New 4.1.1 Version of the TrueConf Server with Extended WebRTC Capabilities

We are pleased to present you a new version of the TrueConf Server 4.1.1 with support for WebRTC broadcasting in the
Firefox browser, TCP tunneling, improved sound quality in WebRTC broadcasts, as well as extended server’s access control options.

What’s new in TrueConf Server 4.1.1?

• WebRTC video broadcasting via Firefox browser.
• WebRTC broadcasting via TCP and additional server when browser fails to connect through UDP protocol.
• Web configurator acquired a new Web/Security tab to manage server’s access rights.
• Additional option to change the interface language through Web configurator.
• French, German and Dutch localization.

Changes and improvements:

• The trial period is extended in cases of registration server disconnection.
• Improved sound quality in WebRTC conferences.
• Video broadcasting from certain SIP terminals is accelerated (unconditional keyframe request from the endpoint at the beginning of the conference).

The following troubles were fixed:

• The hissing sound during a WebRTC broadcast, as well as in the recorded video.
• Installation and registration errors on certain operating systems configurations.
• Errors in restoring backup files of previous versions.
• Now users who have been included in the list of invited participants, but for some reason did not have time to connect to the group
  video conference, are not removed from the list of participants.
• SIP subscribers and external servers (via federation) users may be invited to join a scheduled video conference.

Please note that TrueConf Server is still a full-featured video conferencing server, WebRTC broadcasting is just
one of its features.
