Update

New Features of TrueConf MCU Free

Driven by the growing communication needs of today’s B2B segment, we’ve significantly enhanced the capabilities of TrueConf MCU Free that now features:

  • Multipoint video conferences for up to 100 SIP/H.323 endpoints. Previously, only 4 active connections were available.
  • Ability to run up to 4 simultaneous conferences for up to 100 connected endpoints.
  • Unlimited meeting time. Previously, there was a 45-minute time limit.
TrueConf MCU Free requires a persistent connection to the registration server.

Other useful enhancements

  • TrueConf MCU is now compatible with Debian 11. Check the full list of supported operating systems here.
  • We’ve improved estimation of hardware resource usage by TrueConf MCU.
  • We’ve enhanced the quality of video content shared during a conference that sometimes could be lower than the declared 4K.
  • We’ve fixed a bug due to which the active speaker’s video window wasn’t always spotlighted when a conference was recorded.
  • We’ve fixed a bug that caused video shared during a meeting to appear in the list of listeners in the conference audio channels. Now, it is displayed in the list of speakers.
  • We’ve fixed a bug that caused images shared during a meeting to be displayed in the conference audio channels.
  • Now, when joining a conference via a browser, a notification will be displayed if the browser you’re using is not supported. Currently supported browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.
