Support for conferences with simultaneous interpretation
In the latest update of our video collaboration platform, TrueConf Server 5.4, we have introduced a new mode for video conferencing with participants who speak different languages. With TrueConf 8.4.1, users can now join such conferences not only as speakers and attendees, but also as interpreters.

On-the-fly meeting time extension and conference end reminder
If the time extension option is enabled for a scheduled meeting, the owner and moderators authorized in TrueConf 8.4.1 will have a corresponding button in the conference info window and in the notification for the conference’s imminent end.
Conference end reminder will be displayed in the notification center according to the time specified in the conference settings when scheduling it.
Other useful changes and improvements
- The AI mode of displaying user’s image over the screen sharing (Speaker overlaying content) can now be enabled when selecting a content sharing source
- Now, after an unsuccessful attempt to load a file in a group or personal chat, you can download it again
- We’ve added an option to request remote control of the user’s desktop using the context menu, which is called by right-clicking on the user in the participants list and in the conference layout
- We’ve fixed an issue that caused audio missing when playing some .MP4 videos in the built-in player.
