TrueConf 2.9 for iOS
The TrueConf 2.9 changelog includes the following updates from the previous minor release:
- TrueConf Online cloud service users can now navigate large contact lists much quicker.
- Improved display of meeting control buttons.
- We have redesigned the user profile look by making it more intuitive and user-friendly. Users can also enjoy a shiny new color scheme.
Enhanced stability during conference start
In TrueConf 2.9 for iOS and iPadOS, we’ve sufficiently improved the application stability and fixed the issue that may have caused the application to close when viewing a user profile on iOS 12 or earlier.
End of support for iOS 10 and older devices
For a number of years, we have been optimizing our app performance on iOS 10, while we had a possibility to implement and adapt new technologies with this operating system.
However, TrueConf 2.9 is the last version supporting this OS. Users of iOS 10 or earlier are no longer recommended to update their TrueConf app starting from v.2.9.
Recommended devices for proper app operation
To take full advantage of TrueConf 2.9+ for iOS and iPadOS, we recommend using the Apple devices starting from iPhone 5S, iPad Air and iPad mini 2. The iPhone 5, 5c and iPad 4 users will receive “The video is not supported on your device” system notification.
