Remote Camera Control

Previously we supported remote camera control for TrueConf desktop app users, and now this feature has become available for TrueConf for iOS! iPhone and iPad users can remotely control PTZ and USB cameras supporting UBC and VISCA protocols during video conferences.

To enable camera control panel, press and hold user’s video window until the menu appears. By default, any conference participant can control user’s camera on request, which is sent automatically the first time they attempt to control it. Once the permission is granted, rotate and zoom user’s camera with the arrows.

Dual Camera Support

TrueConf for iOS adds support for dual cameras! The feature is available for iPhone 7 Plus and later. By switching from wide-angle lens to telephoto lens you can get you as close to a distant subject as possible. With higher focal length, telephoto lens provides 2x optical zoom without compromising on the video quality.

To activate a telephoto lens, switch from your front camera to a rear one and click on the lens icon placed on top of your video window.
