TrueConf made its first appearance at the largest AV exhibition in North America — InfoComm 2014. The company was the only video
conferencing vendor from Eastern Europe.
This year InfoComm 2014 had an important anniversary. The oldest AV exhibition celebrated its 75-th birthday. More than 37 000 people
have visited the exhibition and almost 1000 companies showcased their products, giving InfoComm yet another record in attendance.
The hottest topics were Ultra HD (4К) resolution support in various solutions for capturing, processing, and displaying video content,
new collaboration technologies, and updated product lines of professional AV devices for meeting rooms, including USB peripherals for PCs.
It was not easy to visit all the stands and see everything, but, fortunately, the visitors had 3 full days to thoroughly inspect the newest
AV technologies and IT solutions.
At InfoComm 2014 we showcased new features of our software video conferencing server TrueConf Server: 4K (UltraHD) resolution support
in video conferencing and WebRTC client with the ability of broadcasting and displaying content.
TrueConf Server can support such high resolution as 4K (UltraHD) thanks to its improved architecture, based on Scalable Video Coding
technology (SVC).
Also, visitors had an opportunity to try the latest versions of our client applications for Windows, Mac and Linux with the ability to share
desktop and display it in separate video window, as well as updated mobile apps for Android and iOS with improved video capture resolution.
