TrueConf Group 1.1.1: Mailbox checking and information about contact synchronization with TrueConf Server and TrueConf MCU 1

We’re glad to announce TrueConf Group 1.1.1, the latest update of our video conferencing endpoint for meeting rooms of any size powered by updated firmware. The new version features the ability to check the mailbox specified in the video conferencing terminal, information about the synchronization of TrueConf Group contacts with TrueConf Server and TrueConf MCU, as well as other useful improvements.

If you’d like to upgrade your TrueConf Group firmware, please contact our technical support.

Information about contact synchronization

In TrueConf Group 1.1, we added the ability to synchronize contacts of the video conferencing terminal with the user account registered on TrueConf Server or TrueConf MCU. Now, in the SettingsTrueConf Server/TrueConf MCU, you can see the time and status of the last synchronization with the corresponding video conferencing system.

In addition, contacts from TrueConf Server or TrueConf MCU are automatically removed from TrueConf Group address book when synchronization is disabled with the TrueConf Group 1.1.1: Mailbox checking and information about contact synchronization with TrueConf Server and TrueConf MCU 4 button. Previously, it required a restart.

Mailbox checking

By clicking the Check button, TrueConf Group users can now manually check the availability of the specified mailbox and receive new meeting invitations. If the last check is successful, its date will be displayed in the Last check line, and if it is unsuccessful, the status Service unavailable will be displayed.

Other useful enhancements

  • In TrueConf Group 1.1, it became possible to connect hardware via RTSP as a primary image source. Now, the address of this source can be changed on the fly — the connection to the new address will occur automatically after editing the corresponding contact in the address book.
  • All PTZ cameras connected to TrueConf Group via RS-232, NDI, VISCA-IP, and USB turn back when going to sleep mode, and revert to their original position when coming out of sleep mode. Earlier, this operating principle was only applied to cameras connected via RS-232.
  • Users can now set and change the user name and password for access to the management interface and record viewer in the HTTP settings on the fly.
  • We’ve fixed an issue due to which the scene selector didn’t appear on the conference control page if no PTZ camera was selected as a primary image source.
  • We’ve fixed an issue that occurred when the Sleep button in the power settings of the web control panel put the device into sleep mode without displaying a screensaver.
  • We’ve fixed an issue due to which TrueConf Group didn’t switch to the HDMI source when the USB camera was switched off.
  • The accuracy of TrueConf Group’s built-in SIP spam filter has been improved.
  • The overall performance and stability of TrueConf Group firmware has been improved.
