# What Is TrueConf Group?
# Endpoint Purpose
TrueConf Group video conferencing terminals are an integrated software and hardware solution designed for small, medium, and large meeting rooms. The terminal lineup includes models such as TrueConf Group and TrueConf Group Silent.
With this terminal, you can deploy a ready-to-use system for organizing video communication using SIP, H.323, RTSP, VNC, and NDI protocols. Depending on the configuration, it supports video communication up to 2160p quality and can function as an MCU with up to 12 ports.
With TrueConf Group, you can:
Make video calls
Organize video conferences (if built-in MCU is enabled)
Record video meetings
Capture and share content from USB devices and video capture cards
Stream conferences to third-party platforms
Connect NDI and VNC video sources
control the terminal using a pre-configured touch tablet with special firmware (this tablet is included in some supplied kits);
manage the terminal through the web interface from a browser (available to administrators only);
Use additional features when integrating with TrueConf Server and TrueConf MCU
work with two monitors simultaneously;
display the presentation and other content on an additional screen.
Thanks to modular configuration, TrueConf Group is compatible with a number of peripheral devices:
compatible PTZ cameras that operate via USB 2.0/USB 3.0/HDMI interfaces and support control via RS-232 (VISCA, Pelco-P, Pelco-D) or USB;
USB speakerphones
a desktop tablet for terminal management;
Analog playback or audio capture devices
monitors connected via HDMI and DisplayPort.

# General Description
TrueConf Group and TrueConf Group Silent terminals are devices encased in a metal body. An infrared receiver for the remote control is located behind the decorative plastic front panel.
