# Integration with services

TrueConf Group supports integration with various services and offers additional features when connected to the TrueConf ecosystem.

# TrueConf Server

If integration with TrueConf Server is enabled, you can upload the corporate contact directory and the scheduled conferences of the specified video communication server user to the TrueConf Group address book. This can be done using TrueConf Calendar Connector and MS Exchange.

  1. Go to the Configuration → Integration → TrueConf Server section.

  2. Activate the Enable TrueConf Server option.

  3. Specify the following information in the server connection fields:

    • server (IP or domain name);

    • TrueConf ID (username) of the person whose address book should be imported

    • user password;

    • check interval - the time period for synchronizing contacts with TrueConf Server.

4. To apply the changes, click Synchronize in the Contacts section.

When the required fields are filled out, the address book of the selected user will be imported to the Address book → TrueConf Server section of the endpoint.

When synchronization is disabled, the contacts imported from TrueConf Server are removed from the terminal's address book. To restore them, you need to reactivate synchronization and refresh the address book.

# TrueConf MCU

Integration with the TrueConf MCU video conferencing mixing server enables you to display scheduled conferences on the main screen and import the list of contacts from the MCU into the TrueConf Group address book.

To do it:

  1. Use the remote control to navigate to the Configuration → Integration → TrueConf MCU section.

  2. Activate the Enable TrueConf MCU option.

  3. Specify the following information in TrueConf MCU connection fields:

    • server (IP or domain name);

    • user's name and password, so the terminal can connect and download the address book.

4. To apply the changes, click Synchronize in the Contacts section.

When synchronization is disabled, scheduled conferences and contacts imported from TrueConf MCU are removed from the terminal's address book. To have them reappear, you need to reactivate synchronization and update the address book.

# Email

Integration with the email service allows you to receive TrueConf Group invitations to conferences or SIP calls, ensuring they are sent in the iCalendar format (.ics) with the LOCATION field specifying the URI for connection or call. Invitations are displayed in the calendar on the device screen.

At first, it is necessary to configure the reception of invitation emails:

  1. Using the remote control, navigate to the Configuration → Integration → Email section.

  2. Activate the Enable Email option.

  3. Enter the following information in the mail service connection fields:

    • Mail service address

    • Email box address to which conference invitations will be directed

    • Username (login) and password for the email box

    • The protocol used for receiving the invitation emails from the mail service (additional configurations may be needed on the side of the mail service)

    • The time interval for checking if new email invitations have been received.

After successfully receiving emails from the specified mailbox for the first time, you will see a list of upcoming events in the TrueConf Group calendar.

# LDAP

The TrueConf Group terminal allows the use of the LDAP directory service. To configure integration with the LDAP server, go to .

  1. Activate the Use LDAP option.

  2. Select Sync Interval.

  3. In the fields for connecting to the video conferencing LDAP server, specify:

    • host name, port, and domain;

    • authentication method;

    • distinguished name (DN);

    • username and password.

4. To apply the changes, click Synchronize in the Contacts section.

After successfully connecting to LDAP, the sections User Schema and Group Schema will be available to you, where you can specify the necessary parameters in the fields. By default, the group schema complies with the ITU-T H.350 standard. The content of the fields depends on the parameters used in your LDAP server.
