# How to present and prepare a presentation in advance

The TrueConf Group terminal allows content streaming during calls and conferences.

# Preparing Presentations

To preselect a content source for sharing, go to the Presentation section on the main screen.

The device selection menu is activated by clicking the Device selection button. Here, you can add network sources like RTSP and VNC, and below, view external devices connected via HDMI cable to the capture card.

To connect external devices using HDMI, you need the appropriate TrueConf Group configuration.

You can also display content from a file. To do this, connect an external USB drive and click the Choose a file button. TrueConf Group supports presentations from USB drives with images in PNG, JPG, TIFF formats, PDF documents, and videos in MKV, MP4, TS formats.

The presentation audio is always output to the meeting room speakers. During a conference, the presentation audio is mixed with the microphone signal. Muting the microphone does not disable the presentation audio.

When an HDMI source is connected, the content will automatically be displayed on the screen. Depending on the settings, it may also be automatically shared in the conference.

# Presentation Display

To share content during a video call or conference:

  1. Press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the remote control or tablet screen – Presentation → Select file.

If an external device is connected to TrueConf Group via HDMI, pressing PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png will open a list of connected devices for quick content sharing.

2. When selecting a file from a USB drive, a window displaying its contents will open, where you can use the navigation buttons to choose the desired file.

  1. If the administrator has selected the option to send by button in the call settings, a new video window with a preview of the selected content will appear on the terminal screen, and you should proceed to step 4. Otherwise, content sharing will begin in the conference immediately.

4. To start the broadcast, press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the remote control, then select Device selection. All connected participants will see the shared content in a separate video window. By default, on the terminal's layout, the content will be displayed in a full-screen enlarged video window, and this will not change when new participants join the conference. You can change the video layout using the /docs/group-user/media/buttons/layout/en.png button on the remote control.

5. During the presentation, use the following control panel buttons:

  • navigation buttons – for navigating between file pages or moving around a zoomed image;

  • scaling buttons – used to control the size of the broadcasted content image.

  1. To stop content sharing, press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the remote control and select End content sharing.
