The TrueConf Group terminal allows content streaming during calls and conferences.

# Preparing Presentations

To pre-select a content source for presentation, go to the Presentation section on the main screen.

The device selection menu is activated by pressing the Select Device button. Here you can add RTSP and VNC sources, and below you can see external devices connected via an HDMI cable to the capture card.

To connect external devices using HDMI, the appropriate TrueConf Group configuration is required.

You can also display content from a file. To do this, connect an external USB drive and click the Choose a file button. TrueConf Group supports demonstrations from USB drives with images in PNG, JPG, TIFF formats, PDF documents, and videos in MKV, MP4, TS formats (audio is not transmitted).

Audio can be transmitted while streaming content from external devices (via HDMI). Additionally, you can simultaneously use a microphone connected to TrueConf Group.

To share content during a video call or conference:

  1. Press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the control panel or tablet screen – .

If an external device is connected to TrueConf Group via HDMI, pressing PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png will open a list of connected devices for quick content sharing.

When choosing to play a file from a USB drive, you will see its contents. Here you can choose your file with the navigation buttons.

If the administrator has selected push-to-send in the call settings, a new video window will appear on the terminal screen with a preview of the selected content and you should proceed to step 4. Otherwise, the content will immediately start being shared in the conference.

To start broadcasting, press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the remote control, then select Choose device. All connected participants will see the displayed content in a separate video window. By default, on the terminal's video layout, the content will be displayed in a full-screen enlarged video window, and this will not change as new conference participants join. You can change the video layout using the /docs/group-user/media/buttons/layout/en.png button on the remote control.

When sharing, use the following buttons on the remote control:

  • navigation buttons – for navigating between pages of a document or moving around a zoomed-in image;

  • scaling buttons – for controlling the size of the broadcast content image.

To stop content sharing, press the PC /docs/group-user/media/buttons/pc/en.png button on the remote control and select Presentation stop.
