# prepareCallIdForCall
Version: 4.2.0+
Description: Process the identifier that will be used for the call.
For outgoing calls, the peerId
parameter is passed, which may be transformed within VideoSDK/Room and therefore differ from the original. To find out the final version of the identifier used, you can use this command.

callId
- A unique identifier that needs to be finalized. Applicability:PeerId - supported
CallId - supported
InstanceId - supported
preparedCallId
- the finalized form of the identifier that will be usedrequestId
