Conference ID (CID) is a unique video conference identifier on TrueConf Server. For private meetings IDs are static and consists of numbers, but for public meetings, randomized IDs can be set during the scheduling process (in this case, it can contain numbers, latin letters, underscores and hyphens):
- in the TrueConf server control panel
- in the client application conference scheduler
- in the personal area.
To join a conference, you need to know a conference ID used to generate a link to the conference page.
The figure below shows the ID input field when scheduling public conferences on the server. In this field, the prefix \c\
is always added to IDs so that by copying the string into the client application, you can join a conference right off.
