May 20, 2014, the first conference in the series of international events on video conferencing technology Video+Conference took place in Warsaw,
\nPoland. The event was organized by Garets Sp z o.o., with TrueConf being the general sponsor. Representatives of Sennheiser and Logitech in
\nPoland also supported the event and acted as sponsors.<\/p>\n

The event aroused great interest and gathered 50 participants in the conference hall of the National Stadium in Warsaw. They learned what is
\nbehind the latest UC trends, such as BYOD, SVC and WebRTC; they also found out how video conferencing systems are built and how they operate,
\nas well as how to choose the right solution for deploying or expanding the existing video network of the company.<\/p>\n

According to Hubert Oszkiel, organizer of the conference and head of the video conferencing division in Garets Sp z o.o., Poland has not seen
\nsuch events before and it definitely lacked such UC&C conferences where participants could get information on new trends and technologies, not
\njust the news from just one manufacturer.<\/p>\n

The main topis of “Video+Konferencja Polska 2014” were: unified communications systems and the criteria for choosing one, discussing the
\nspeakers’ experience in implementing video conferencing systems and review of various video conferencing peripherals for high-quality
\ncommunication in the context of UC.<\/p>\n

Lev Yakupov, Director of Marketing in TrueConf, spoke on the six main ideas in the world of UC&C modern customers should be aware of.<\/p>\n

Conference guests could personally see and test various equipment for video conferencing – endpoints, cameras, conferencing systems, audio
\nequipment and speakerphones showcased in the demonstration zone.<\/p>\n

Speakers gladly answered numerous questions from the participants during their reports, during breaks or at lunch.<\/p>\n

The most active and lucky participants of “Video+Konferencja Polska 2014” got nice presents from the organizers and sponsors. Some participants
\nwent home with headsets and speakerphones from Sennheiser and the grand present from TrueConf – iPad Mini, won by Peter Marek from Sports
\nInstitute of Warsaw. Congratulations!<\/p>\n
