You can install TrueConf Server Free on <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/support\/system-requirements.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">almost any PCs<\/a>, as we are not planning to connect many subscribers.<\/div>\n<p>Usually the endpoints installed in the meeting rooms are already registered on MCU or Gatekeeper via H.323 protocol. We will connect the endpoint to TrueConf Server via SIP in order not to change its settings.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1. Register the endpoint on TrueConf Server<\/h3>\n<p>Create an account for Polycom HDX endpoint on TrueConf Server as <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#user-accounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">described in its documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2. Connect to the conference<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wiki\/trueconf-server-control-panel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TrueConf Server control panel <\/a> in the <strong>Group Conferences<\/strong> section<b>.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Create a conference as <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#creating-video-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">described in the TrueConf Server documentation<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Add the account of the user which was used to authorize the Polycom endpoint to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#participants-tab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the list of participants <\/a> . Upon successful authorization user status should change to <b>Online <\/b> (including TrueConf application <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wiki\/address-book\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> address books <\/a> ).<\/li>\n<li>Start the conference. If you know the conference ID, you can join it by following the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/user\/call-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">instructions provided in TrueConf Server documentation<\/a>. To do it, make a call to the following address:<\/p>\n<p><code>00[Conference_ID]@[server]<\/code><br \/>\nwhere:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><code>[Conference_ID]<\/code> \u2014 conference ID<\/li>\n<li><code>[server]<\/code> \u2014 server IP address or domain name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to send DTMF commands<\/h2>\n<p>TrueConf Server supports tone dialing, so you can send the following DTMF commands from your Polycom endpoint during a <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/features\/modes\/virtual-meeting.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">role-based conference<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><code>1<\/code> &#8211; request to take the podium.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><code>2<\/code> &#8211; to leave the podium.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To use this feature, you need to activate it on the endpoint side.
