Users can share an already prepared presentation with event participants or create one within the application from images during the conference.<\/p>\n<p>To allow users connected to your server from TrueConf client applications to use the conference scheduler, presentation sharing, and real-time meeting management, you need to open the HTTPS port (<a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/ports-trueconf-server-use\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">port 443<\/a> by default) between the client applications and the video conferencing server.<\/p>\n<p>Conference participants may sometimes encounter issues while broadcasting their presentation or viewing presentations from other participants. In this article, we will explore the causes and potential solutions to this problem.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\" class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">Demonstrating a presentation in the desktop application<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">During the call, in the meeting management menu, click the <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image7.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-dh6sOmlC\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"inline-img\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a> button and go to the <b>Slideshow<\/b> tab in the window that opens. On this tab, you can check the <b>Stream system audio<\/b> option to transmit audio from your OS alongside the slideshow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">The TrueConf app supports importing presentations in <b>ppt, pptx, odp<\/b>, a special <b>slides<\/b> format, as well as pages from <b>pdf<\/b> files.<\/p>\n<p>It is also possible to create a presentation from individual images directly in the application&#8217;s menu or even add images to a list of slides imported from a presentation or PDF file. Supported image formats include <b>jpeg, png, jpe, jif, jfif, jfi, bmp, png, gif,<\/b> and <b>webp<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"accent-note accent-note--line ui-mb-sm-1\">\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text\">\nPlease note that when using images with <b>gif<\/b> and <b>webp<\/b> extensions, only the first frame will be used.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">To create a presentation from images:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Click on the <b>Create a slideshow<\/b> button and enter its name.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Import a document or compile a slideshow from images.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Start the presentation from any slide.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">You can use the resulting slideshow in the future, including in other events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">Learn more about content sharing in the desktop version of the app in our <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/client\/en\/content-sharing\/#how-to-show-slides\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\" class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">Presentation demonstration in the mobile app<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"\" class=\"h5--main h5--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">On Android OS<\/h3>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">During the conference, you can start a slideshow from your images in the gallery (supported formats are jpeg, png, gif, jpe, jif, jfif, jfi, bmp, png, gif, webp).<\/p>\n<div class=\"accent-note accent-note--line ui-mb-sm-1\">\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text\">\nPlease note that when using images with <b>gif<\/b> and <b>webp<\/b> extensions, only the first frame will be used.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">To do this:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Click <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image81.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-dh6sOmlC\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image81.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"inline-img\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a> and select a <b>Slideshow<\/b>. A window for selecting photos will open (by default from the camera roll).<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Check the images and click the <b>Start slideshow<\/b> button. <\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">You will be prompted to name the presentation, then click the <b>Start<\/b> button to continue.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">In the conference window, a presentation control widget will appear with its name and buttons to switch slides and stop the slideshow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"\" class=\"h5--main h5--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">On iOS\/iPadOS<\/h3>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">To display a slideshow:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">In the conference <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/client-ios\/en\/during-conference\/#control-panel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">control panel<\/a>, press the <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image81.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-dh6sOmlC\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image81.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"inline-img\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a> button and select <b>Slideshow<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">Press the <b>Send Slide<\/b> button to select an image on your device. After adding, you can view the image by clicking on it. The caption <b>My currently broadcasted slide<\/b> will appear at the bottom of the slide.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\">To stop displaying images, press <b>Stop<\/b>. To return to the conference window, press <b>Done<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"accent-note accent-note--line ui-mb-sm-1\">\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text\">\nDue to Apple&#8217;s security policy, when setting up an HTTPS connection on TrueConf Server, image display may only be available if a commercial certificate is used on the server. To work with a self-signed certificate, it must be added on the user&#8217;s side for iOS\/iPadOS as shown below.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">For more information on content sharing in the mobile app, refer to the relevant sections of the documentation:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/client-android\/en\/collaboration\/#slideshow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">presentation display on Android OS;<\/a><\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/client-ios\/en\/tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">slideshow display on iOS\/iPadOS.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"\" class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">What to do if the presentation is not displaying for conference participants<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">If conference participants encounter issues viewing presentations, you need to ensure that:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\">an <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#https\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HTTPS connection<\/a> is configured on the server;<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\">there is an HTTPS connection between all participants and the server (by default, TCP port 443, but it can be reconfigured).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"\" class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">What to do if the problem only occurs for mobile device users<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">If a self-signed security certificate is used on the video conferencing server, this certificate must also be present on the users&#8217; devices.<\/p>\n<p>In case of issues with broadcasting or viewing presentations in conferences, you need to check for the presence of the <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/docs\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#self-signed-and-custom-certificates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">security certificate<\/a> on your mobile device.<\/p>\n<p>If the required security certificate is missing, it needs to be installed.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"\" class=\"h5--main h5--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">Checking and Installing a Certificate on Android OS<\/h3>\n<div class=\"accent-note accent-note--line ui-mb-sm-1\">\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text\">\nThe names of the menu items may vary depending on the device manufacturer and OS version. This list is based on the example of a Google Pixel 7 running Android 15.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">To check and install a certificate, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\">Download the certificate to your device.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\">Open the <b>Settings<\/b> app.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--disc\">The easiest way to find the menu item for adding a certificate is to open the settings and then enter &#8220;wi-fi certificate&#8221; in the search. Choose the <b>Wi-Fi Certificate<\/b> option from the search results.
