This article will explain some of the reasons why your PC may act in this way and offer several recommendations for addressing this problem.\n<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">System requirements<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">\nAt first, you need to check if your PC meets the <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/support\/system-requirements.html#client-app\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recommended system requirements<\/a> for the TrueConf application. The application load on the CPU is mainly determined by the type of the conference you are participating in and the quality of outgoing and incoming video streams. Please check specific examples of system requirements <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/support\/system-requirements.html#videocall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for calls and conferences<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">CPU resource usage<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">\nSuch problems may also be caused by other applications using PC resources. If you are using <b>Windows<\/b>, open the task manager by pressing the shortcut <b>Ctrl + Shift + Esc<\/b>. By default, these directories are located at:\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">\nOn <b>Windows<\/b>:\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><code>C:\\Program Files\\TrueConf\\<\/code><\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><code>C:\\Program Files (x86)\\TrueConf\\<\/code><\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><code>%localappdata%\\TrueConf\\Client<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">\nOn <b>Linux<\/b>:\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ui-list ui-list--medium\" style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><code>\/opt\/trueconf\/client<\/code><\/li>\n<li class=\"ui-list__item ui-list__item--num\"><code>\/home\/$USER\/.config\/trueconf\/<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"h4--main h4--thick black-text ui-mb-xs-3 ui-mt-md-1\">Disabling AI features<\/h2>\n<p class=\"primary-medium-text ui-mb-sm-1\">\nThe use of artificial intelligence features can increase CPU load if the PC is not powerful enough and if it has to work on some additional tasks (read the section above to <a href=\"#CPU_resource_usage\">check it<\/a>).
