It brings the ability to prohibit attendees from giving audio remarks, select the categories of users who will enter the waiting room when joining the conference, as well as other useful changes and improvements.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"marked_note marked_note--green\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The extended version of TrueConf add-in for Outlook is installed using an MSI file and offers more features compared to the standard version of the add-in, which is installed from the official Outlook store<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><a class=\"standard_button standard_button_cyan\" href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/features\/integration\/calendars.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Install<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meeting time extension and conference end reminder<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/news\/trueconf-server-5-4#On-the-fly_meeting_time_extension_and_conference_end_reminder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TrueConf Server 5.4<\/a>, it is now possible to enable notification with the meeting end reminder and to extend it if necessary. Now you can also select the categories of users who will enter the waiting room when joining the meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>all participants (except the owner and moderators)<\/li>\n<li>unscheduled participants (guests and users who were not added to the participant list)<\/li>\n<li>unscheduled participants of other servers (guests and users who were not added to the participant list when scheduling, connecting via federation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/03.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-RVwCk8ya\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18607\" style=\"border: 1px solid grey;\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other useful changes and enhancements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019ve added the ability to centrally change the settings <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-manage-trueconf-plugin-for-microsoft-outlook-in-a-centralized-way\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">using a configuration file<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The stability of the extended version of TrueConf add-in for Microsoft Outlook has been improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce the extended version of TrueConf 1.2, the latest update of our add-in for Microsoft Outlook.
