The update features new conference recording options, the ability to add a participant without an automatic call, as well as other useful changes and performance improvements.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<center><a class=\"standard_button standard_button_cyan\" href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/products\/mcu.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Update<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Advanced recording settings<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In TrueConf MCU 2.1.1, we have significantly expanded the capabilities for recording conferences. The following recording options are now available for the video stream with content (presentations):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>do not record<\/b> (only the selected layout will be recorded)<\/li>\n<li><b>full screen<\/b> (the selected layout will be recorded, but during content sharing, only the content will be recorded)  <\/li>\n<li><b>overlay video<\/b> (the selected layout will be recorded, but during content sharing, a layout with the content being displayed in the priority window will be formed in the recording).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-9kfo7Wpg\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18607\" style=\"border: 1px solid grey;\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, you can now choose the recording quality (resolution):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>highest \u2014 1080p FullHD<\/li>\n<li>optimal \u2014 720p HD<\/li>\n<li>minimum size \u2014 360p SD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After selecting the quality, the video conferencing server will automatically recalculate the maximum recording duration based on the available free storage space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-9kfo7Wpg\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18607\" style=\"border: 1px solid grey;\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides, the configuration of conference recording settings has now been moved to the <b>Additional<\/b> tab.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adding a conference participant without calling<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With TrueConf MCU 2.1.1, you can add a participant to a conference without calling them.<br \/>\nJust drag the selected user from the right sidebar into the list of conference participants and select the <b>Add without connecting<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/3.gif\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-9kfo7Wpg\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18607\" style=\"border: 1px solid grey;\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other useful changes and improvements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We have fixed an issue that sometimes prevented establishing a SIP connection through NAT<\/li>\n<li>Overall stability of the video conferencing server has been improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a complete list of updates, check our <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/products\/changelog.html#mcu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">changelog<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are thrilled to release TrueConf MCU 2.1.1, the latest update of our software-based video conferencing server for legacy SIP\/H.323 endpoints.
