To meet the needs of these customers, TrueConf has developed an add-in enabling Microsoft Outlook users to create video conferences when scheduling an event in the calendar.\n<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\nThere are desktop and web-based versions of this add-on. They differ in terms of their features (to learn more about this issue read <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-outlook-users-can-install-trueconf-add-on.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this article<\/a>), UI and installation methods. Here, we will discuss only the web version since it is the only version that can be installed on the side of MS Exchange. Check out our knowledge base to learn about <a href=\"#\">installation<\/a> and <a href=\"#\">use<\/a> of the desktop version.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nTo work with the web version of the add-on, a user needs to have an account on <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/products\/server\/video-conferencing-server.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TrueConf Server<\/a> in addition to the Outlook account (one can also use <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/products\/tcsf\/trueconf-server-free.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TrueConf Server Free<\/a>). TrueConf Online cloud service is not supported.\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"marked_note marked_note--warning\">\n   To work with the add-in, you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config\/#https\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">configure HTTPS on your TrueConf Server<\/a>.\n<\/div>\n<div>\n  This add-in is compatible with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outlook 2016 or above<\/li>\n<li>Exchange 2016 or above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>\nUsers don\u2019t have to manually integrate this add-in into Outlook. You can just install it on your Exchange server.
