During TrueConf Server installation, you can sometimes get an “initdb failed with non zero exit code. Aborting installation”, which is connected to the PostgreSQL database. In this article we will explore some ways to solve this problem.<\/p>\n

Option 1: No rights to create files<\/h2>\n

Most often this error is caused by a problem with the rights of the account under which you are installing TrueConf Server. This means that the installer does not have permissions to create C:\\Program Files\\TrueConf Server\\database<\/code> or C:\\TrueConf\\database directory<\/code>.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n

Run the TrueConf Server installation file under a local admin account in your operating system or grant explicit account rights to the current operating system user in the directories mentioned above.<\/p>\n

Option 2. Installing from a network drive<\/h2>\n

The “initdb failed” error may also occur when installing TrueConf Server from a network drive.<\/p>\n
