Here you can choose participants and devices that should be invited to the conference before you start the conference.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image3.gif\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-eqshzpJL\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17592\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"483\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the TrueConf Server control panel<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/schedule-video-conference-server-side-trueconf-server.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scheduling a conference<\/a> in the TrueConf Server control panel, you can specify users who will be automatically invited to the conference when it starts:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">By selecting them from the list of TrueConf Server users.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Via the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/user\/connecting#sip-call\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call string<\/a> (e.g., you can invite SIP or H.323 devices).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Invite a guest who is not registered on the server by sending an email invitation with detailed instructions on how to join the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To enable automatic meeting invitations at the conference launch, you need to:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Specify the start date of a conference or its schedule.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Check the following box <strong>Send email invitations to conference participants<\/strong> (this checkbox can be found in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config#additional-tab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Advanced<\/a><\/strong> section).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can edit email invitation details in the <strong>SMTP \u2192 Scheduled Conference Invitation<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n<div class=\"marked_note marked_note--danger\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that corporate or external <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-send-emails-with-trueconf-server.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SMTP server integration should be set up<\/a> to enable email invitation sending.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image5.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-eqshzpJL\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17593\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"369\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image5.png 690w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image5-290x155.png 290w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the conference<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the client application<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the conference you can find people in the address book and invite them by double clicking their names. Alternatively, you can right click their name in the address book and invite them to the conference from the context menu. During the video call, double-click a contact in your address book to automatically transform your meeting\u00a0 into a group conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the TrueConf Server control panel<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To add users to an ongoing conference from the server control panel, select it under <strong>Group Conferences \u2192 Conferences<\/strong> and click <strong>Add Participants<\/strong> in the <strong>Information<\/strong> sidebar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-eqshzpJL\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17595 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"616\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2-1024x616.png 1024w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2-690x415.png 690w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2-768x462.png 768w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2-290x174.png 290w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image2.png 1156w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adding users to an ongoing conference is identical to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1rXfcZvIimUb-bTrPr7m5lfmo6ZW1LHPnLWoYhjT0eCc\/edit#heading=h.7z5uu8e8790\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">creating an event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a conference ID or conference page link<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To allow participants to join the conference, you can also send them a <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wiki\/conference-page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conference page<\/a> link or <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wiki\/conference-id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conference ID (CID)<\/a>. This method of invitation is especially useful for <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-host-a-webinar-using-trueconf-server.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">webinars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Conference page link is displayed in the following format: <code>&lt;server&gt;\/c\/&lt;CID&gt;<\/code>. E. g,: <code><a href=\"http:\/\/company.name.com\/c\/3561429576\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/company.name.com\/c\/3561429576<\/a><\/code>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find out your conference webpage address in the <strong>Information<\/strong> sidebar of the <strong>Group Conferences \u2192 Conferences<\/strong> section of the TrueConf Server control panel for administrators, or on the <strong>Conference Manager \u2192 Tools \u2192 Conference options<\/strong> tab of the client application for moderators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CID is displayed as\u00a0 <code>\\c\\CID<\/code> where <code>CID<\/code> is a sequence of digits or letters. E. g.: <code>\\c\\4154248070<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a group conference <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/admin\/web-config#group-conferences-tab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scheduled on the server<\/a>, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.trueconf.com\/server\/en\/user\/personal-area#schedule-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personal area<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-schedule-a-conference-in-trueconf-for-windows.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">via conference scheduler<\/a>, its ID is displayed in the conference list in the TrueConf Server <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wiki\/trueconf-server-control-panel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">control panel<\/a>.
